Jabebo Earrings are known for their colorful, detailed images that celebrate biodiversity and promote science education. The base of each earring is locally sourced, post-consumer cereal box paperboard. The images are fixed to the front, and the entire piece is sealed with non-toxic shellac and a coat of epoxy for durability, water resistance, and a pleasing finish. The metal ear wires are made of surgical steel. They are produced in Bellefonte Pennsylvania, by a small, family owned company.
