Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

  • Kayaks, SUP Boards, and Paddles: All Kayak, SUP Board, and Paddle sales are FINAL. 
  • Clearance and Used Items: All Clearance sales and Used Item sales are FINAL and cannot be returned.
  • Undergarments: ALL undergarment sales are FINAL.  
  • Accessories and Clothing: May be returned in unused condition, with tags and any packaging. 
  • Items with a receipt may be returned for refund within 30 days of purchase.   
  • Items without a receipt may only be exchanged for another item. The latest price of the item being returned will be used to determine exchange amount.  
  • Roof Racks: All returned Roof Racks will incur a 15% restocking fee. 
  • Special OrdersDeposits for special orders are nonrefundable. Special order items are nonrefundable and nonreturnable. These are items not generally carried by us. 
  • Custom orders: Orders made specially for you are nonrefundable. These are items where a manufacturer builds only to order. 
  • Defective Items: New items that fail after use can be returned within 30 days for a determination as to whether repair, replacement, or credit is warranted. A copy of our original receipt identifying the item must be included with the returned item. The product manufacturer will determine if the defect is from normal use, abuse, or a defect in manufacturing. If the product failed from normal use or from a manufacturing defect and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, at our collective discretion, we will either repair the item or replace the item. If the failed item is determined not to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we will advise you and determine disposition of the item. You may then choose to have the item repaired, in which case you will be charged for the cost of the repair, or returned without repair. 
  • With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them. If you paid more than $100 in cash or by check, we will refund you by check within 10 business days. If you prefer, you can make an exchange for another store item. 
  • The sale of any kayaks, paddleboards, or paddles shipped to destinations outside mainland United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, etc.), are final, and customers should not expect refund, replacement, or exchange for those items once they are shipped.  If defects or issues are found, Naples Outfitters will assist in any warranty process, but cannot guarantee results as they are at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  Damage and issues with new kayaks, paddleboards, or paddles will be processed through the manufacturer according to their warranty policy.  All sales on kayaks, paddleboards, and paddles from Naples Outfitters and Kayak Company LLC are final and issues with new products should be processed directly with the manufacturer of the equipment. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
